What the role is:Set in the Bay East Garden, the Founders' Memorial aims to honour the legacy of our founding generation of leaders and inspire the future. It will be a landmark featuring an integrated gallery and gardens experience. In this role, you will be part of the team driving and managing the development work on smart technologies adoption and implementation, as well as project coordination, in support of the Memorial's vision and goals. You will work closely with stakeholders, consultants and contractors in your areas of responsibility.[What you will be doing]Develop sustainability and smart technology strategies for the Memorial to meet target goals, including reduction of carbon footprintDevelop and implement sustainability plans and guidelines for operations, including but not limited to, energy consumption and waste managementManage and implement new initiatives in support of building a culture of sustainability consciousness and eco-friendly practicesWork with collaborating partners, consultants/contractor and internal stakeholders/divisions towards collective smart technology adoption and energy neutrality goal where possible, including authority consultations and submissionsIdentify and implement smart building technologies, automation and innovative solutions for the Memorial's operations, with objective of optimizing building performance, maintainability and visitor experiences.Conduct study and research on new smart tools for the built environment, following trends in the carbon and renewable energy markets while keeping abreast of relevant regulations.Support the team in working towards the successful completion of the building project.[What we are looking for]Background in engineering, preferably in electrical or environmental sustainability field.Preferably at least 8 years of relevant working experience in Sustainable Development, Environmental Management, Environmental Studies and/or Smart Technology. Project management experience within smart cities, energy management and/or IoT sectors would be advantageous.To have good understanding of energy optimisation and monitoring systems, IoT for smart infrastructure, AI-driven technologies and sustainability frameworksExperienced with latest Singapore Green Mark Code with Green Mark Manager or above certification are requiredExperience with corporate sustainability projects will be advantageousStrong organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsGood in managing consultants and contractorsGood writing and presentation abilitiesAbility to multi-task, work independently an as a teamAll candidates will be notified within 4 weeks whether or not they are shortlisted for the position.About National Heritage Board:The National Heritage Board (NHB) champions the development of a vibrant cultural and heritage sector in Singapore.
