Job Description
Our Client is a reputable organisation looking for candidates with social work assistant experience. This is a customer facing position
Job Scope
- Counsel and explain to patients the principles and rules of the Medicare Assistance scheme.
- Assess patients\' financial status and eligibility for assistance.
- Evaluate and perform medical bill waivers for eligible patients.
- Advise patients on managing their medical bill settlements during assessments.
- Address patients\' inquiries and assist in the application process for medical subsidy and financial assistance schemes.
- Ensure the completeness of submitted applications.
- Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of Medisave Authorization Forms (MAF).
- Reconcile MAF (Medisave Application Forms) with Medisave sign-ups in the system daily.
- Conduct peer audits on Medicare Assistance.
- Verify documents submitted to the Finance department for patient refund vouchers, waivers, etc
- Diploma holders in Accounting / Business / Comerce / Economics. with at least 2 years of working experience. 1 to 2 years working experience in customer service, healthcare setting or social/community services
- Able to work on alternate half Saturday.
