DESIGNATION : Social Work Associate (Restorative Service, Family Resource Centre)



RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be located at Allkin's Family Resource Centre at the Prison Link Centre (Changi). Your responsibilities will include administering information and referral services, providing client support, doing community networking, maintaining documentation and record-keeping, as well as handling ad-hoc tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Information and Referral Services: Provide accurate information and referrals to clients seeking social services. Client Support: Offer guidance and support to clients, helping them navigate community resources and services. Community Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, including local organisations, service providers and government agencies. Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintaining organised and accessible records of client interactions and outcomes. Report Submission: Ensure timely submission of reports and adherence to deadlines. Ad Hoc Tasks: Flexibility to handle ad hoc tasks assigned by Manager or supervisor, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.




QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Polytechnic Diploma in Social Work. Strong capability to follow business processes and meet deadlines for report submissions. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Competent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to assess client needs and provide appropriate referrals. Ability to build rapport with clients and community partners. Comfortable and able to use new digital tools and platforms. Comfortable working with the incarcerated population. Mature and independent, possessing a positive work attitude while excelling as a team player.
