As a Social Worker within the Family Service Centre (FSC), you may be deployed across any of our 4 FSCs based in the Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang and Punggol regions. . Conduct triage and intake services for members of the community . Provide casework and counselling interventions for individuals and families . Plan and conduct group work to support the needs of beneficiaries . Engage in community work to build an ecosystem of assets and resources . Engagement and advocate with systems and stakeholders in the community . Strategise and coordinate interventions to support beneficiaries . Perform other duties assigned Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies: . Degree in Social Work . Competencies in Casework, counselling, risk and crisis management, group work facilitation . Competencies in working with various formal systems and conduct case conferences . Good analytical skills Core Competencies: . Passion to work with children, youths and their families . Good Interpersonal skills and able to work with diverse population . Strong Communication and with good written and interpersonal skills . Commitment to the Code of Social Work Practice standards. Preferred achievements / characteristics: . Alignment to AMKFSC's values of Accountability, Mastery, Kindred Spirit, Fortitude, Sparkle and Care . Demonstrate sound and updated professional knowledge and skills in social work .
