Job Description
:
You will be part of the team to provide divorce support services for divorcing and divorced families and children, which include running programmes catering to the unique needs of families facing divorce. You are also expected to do case management and family dispute management. Your key roles and responsibilities include :
- Facilitate and supervise visitation access of divorcing/divorced parents with their children and ensure that the session is carried out smoothly and safely for both the parent and children.
- Facilitate co-parenting programmes and workshops to help equip parents with knowledge of positive parent-child relationship, and build strategies in managing their co-parenting through coaching of parenting issues.
- Conduct individual and family sessions on co-parenting and divorce-related issues
- Provide support therapy for parents and children
- At least 3-5 years of relevant casework/counselling experience in education, counselling, social work, or related work involving family, parents and children, and have experience in conducting training and workshop
- Comfortable in working with high conflict divorced parents
- Preferably accredited member of SASW
- Able to work from Tuesday to Saturday. Must be able to work on full Saturdays
- Bachelor degree in related fields (Social Work) and preferably with a recognised certification in Counselling
