Job Summary
The Software and App Development Manager will be responsible for building and leading the continued development of the Hotel101 Global App, the core digital platform for guests, unit owners, and hotel teams. You will manage the entire app lifecycle--planning, development, testing, release, and continuous improvement--ensuring the app delivers seamless, secure, and intuitive experiences for all users.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of the Hotel101 Global App across iOS and Android.
Build and optimize app features such as booking, check-in/out, mobile key access, loyalty, payments, and guest services.
Translate business and user requirements into scalable, reliable app functionality.
Oversee code quality, architecture decisions, and best practices for appperformance and security.
Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver a simple, consistent user experience.
Establish a roadmap for app updates, new features, and ongoing enhancements.
Monitor app performance, analytics, and user feedback to guide improvements.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and platform standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Strong background in mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, Swift, orKotlin)
Experience managing the full lifecycle of consumer-facing apps
Ability to lead development teams and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
Strong technical knowledge of app security, compliance, and performance optimization
* Hospitality or booking app experience is a plus, but not required.
