Software Asset Managemen Executive Job Responsibilities As a Software Asset Manager, you will have the following job responsibilities: * Supervise the carry-out of inventories (local & central Software Asset Managemen Executive Job Responsibilities As a Software Asset Manager, you will have the following job responsibilities: Supervise the carry-out of inventories (local & central contracts) and guarantee the conformity in comparison in Asia Gather estate data (Purchase records, proofs of entitlement Gather inventory data (licences allocation to projects/businesses/services, install/uninstall Consolidate and validate the inventory reports and broadcast the information to the relevant stakeholders (as defined in the processes) Establish a conformity assessment in regards to entitlement and software usage in comparison with licences Terms & Conditions In case of non-conformity, draft and manage the remediation actions plan in accordance with the Licence Budget Manager (for local contracts), or the Centralized Contracts SAM (for central contracts) Master the software licenses Lifecycle Manage the request management / renewal and referencing: Ensure that any new software deployed is in compliance with the group strategy (on technical and financial aspects), the Thales instruction (security and legal aspects) and international regulations (export control and fiscal rules) Allow for the deployment of software after having verified the compatibility of its Terms & Conditions with Thales internal policy. Organise provision of installation required elements (activation/security keys, software installation media Provide to the relevant stakeholders all the information associated with the licence lifecycle (end of maintenance, end of rights, renewal dates) Optimise the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Provide support to the Centralized contracts SAM during sourcing centralizations Enable the licences transfer between entities by studying opportunities in advance of the purchase and by regularly indicating to the central the availability of licences. Direct the forecast gathering and consolidate it prior to contracts negotiations with publishers. Convey these data to SAM Centralized Contracts when relevant. Provide a support to the other entity stakeholders Negotiate, with delegation of purchasing team (whether it may be local or central) the technical aspects during contracts signing/renewal or audits Provide a support to the projects/businesses that wish to have licensing model advice during their design phase Lead the communication/awareness actions. Establish and keep up to date the SAM actors mapping over the whole entity and guarantee the proper application of SAM documentary system processes. Lead the local SAM community Ensure the development of every SAM stakeholders skills Contribute to the continuous improvement process in association with the group SAM community (SAM entities, centrals, corporate). Challenge the internal processes and take part in their improvement Define the specifications of SAM dedicated tooling Be a key element in the Group SAM community Job Requirement Candidate must possess a degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent. Must possess minimum 8 years of relevant experience Experienced in asset or IT management in renowned or MNC companies Good experience in IS and IT solutioning Possesses good communication and leadership skills Job Location: One North (might require to travel for work to Changi North) Job Type: 1 year contract (with possibility of extension)
