Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are at the forefront of creating innovative digital solutions that resonate with our audience and meet market needs. We are currently seeking a talented Frontend Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing high-quality mobile applications that enhance user engagement and provide exceptional user experiences. With at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development in an Agile environment, you will play a crucial role in deploying, managing, and optimizing the use of mobile applications for guests and employees.

\xc2\xb7 Design and develop high-performance mobile applications using React Native, JavaScript, and Node.js.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UX/UI designers, project managers, and backend developers) to define, design, and ship new features.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization through best practices and code reviews.

\xc2\xb7 Implement robust, secure authentication and data protection within mobile applications.

\xc2\xb7 Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application responsiveness across devices.

\xc2\xb7 Stay up to date with emerging trends in mobile application development and integrate these findings into projects to enhance user experience and functionality.

\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and resolve application issues.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing end-user support when necessary.

Job Requirements

\xc2\xb7 2-3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native, JavaScript, and Node.js.

\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect React Native applications to back-end services.

\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and offer solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
