Job Description

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing web applications and internal systems. Develop and implement new features based on business requirements. Conduct testing to verify that developed features and fixes function as intended. Collaborate with external vendors to plan, review, and ensure smooth delivery of enhancements. Optimise existing code and database queries for performance and stability. Support deployment activities, including preparing builds, coordinating releases, and resolving post-deployment issues. Document key workflows, data structures, and system dependencies to build internal knowledge. Stay adaptable and open to learning new tools, programming languages, and frameworks as the system evolves.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a related discipline. Around

2+ years

of hands-on development experience in web applications. Strong understanding of application structure, databases, and API integration. Proficiency with Git/GitHub version control and collaborative workflows. Working knowledge of deployment workflows and environments (e.g., GitHub Actions, Forge, or similar). Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Clear communication skills and ability to work independently with vendors and stakeholders

Good to Have

Experience maintaining or enhancing business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, or eCommerce). * Exposure to Laravel/PHP, MySQL, or cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, DigitalOcean).
