Lico Resources is working with a global technology solutions provider known for delivering intelligent automation systems to the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This organization is focused on precision, innovation, and digital transformation across advanced packaging processes.





We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance software solutions powering precision equipment in the semiconductor sector. Based in Singapore, this role offers exposure to complex systems involving real-time control, automation, and data-driven enhancements in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement software modules to support automation, motion control, data acquisition, and equipment operation. Collaborate with hardware, electronics, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration across embedded systems and precision hardware. Develop and optimize real-time software to enable high-speed, high-accuracy functionality in advanced manufacturing tools. Conduct unit and integration testing, debug software issues, and fine-tune system behavior for peak reliability and performance. Apply computer vision, machine learning, or AI algorithms (where applicable) to enhance equipment intelligence and automation. Ensure software design aligns with industry-specific compliance standards, including cybersecurity and data protection protocols. Drive continuous improvements in software architecture, scalability, and maintainability through code reviews and performance optimization. Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and provide internal support and knowledge transfer as needed. Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all software development activities.

Qualifications

Essential:


Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline. Experience developing software for equipment control, automation, or embedded systems--ideally within a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing setting. Proficiency in C++, particularly in real-time or embedded system applications. Strong understanding of control logic, system integration, and software reliability in production environments. Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-speed development cycles.
Desirable:


Exposure to AI, machine learning, or computer vision in industrial or manufacturing applications. Familiarity with software compliance standards, cybersecurity practices, and data processing frameworks. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in engineering teams.
