Mercatus Co-operative Limited was incorporated in May 2011 under the Co-operatives Societies Act and is one of the NTUC social enterprises under the NTUC Enterprise family. It is our vision to own and manage strategically located shopping malls in the heartlands of Singapore to provide NTUC social enterprises with retail space to serve the daily needs of working families. Through our investments, we aim to generate sustainable long term returns for the Labour Movement. We are proud to house many of the NTUC social enterprises in our properties so that union members, residents and visitors to the malls are able to enjoy affordable and quality products and services.
DESIGNATION : Software Engineer, Product Development (Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis, design, development, and testing of new features across various digital platforms in the organisation
• Work closely with team lead to break down high level product requirement into technical requirements
• Responsible for regular communication with various stakeholders including end users, offshore developers, external vendors and product managers
• Provide support to end users on complex technical issues when needed (Level 2/3 for in-house/vendor applications)
• Write technical documentation (e.g. Requirement Specification, APIs, UAT test cases etc) for new product releases
• Opportunity to gain broad experience working across multiple products and learn about new application development platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

• Four years’ or more of relevant working experience in software development and completed at least one full SDLC
• Experience with C# and .net framework
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Web development frameworks (AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery)
• Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL
• Proven experience with software design and OOD methodologies
• Experience with Web services development (REST, SOAP)
• Experience with OutSystems low code applications development with good understanding of application architecture, design concepts and best practices will be an advantage
• Experience with AWS or GCP is a plus
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Analytical and attention to details
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
