Develop new infrastructure improvements and initiatives for the GovTech Data Platform in areas such as data observability, Infrastructure-as-Code, DataOps, etc
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure code consistency and environment segregation
Develop CI/CD practices relevant to DataOps to foster close collaboration among team members
Develop custom applications and workflows to enable smooth user experience and operations
Ensure the reliability and security of the GovTech Data Platform to minimise any data downtime for GovTech-critical data products
Serve as accredited subject matter experts for the GovTech Data Platform technology stack, including but not limited to Databricks, Tableau, etc
Required work experience
Strong skills in DevOps and CI/CD concepts
Familiar with programming languages such as TypeScript, Terraform, JavaScript, etc
Experience with SQL and Python (knowledge of Spark or distributed computing is a bonus)
Experience with infrastructure management on cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Driven and motivated team player who can work independently
Passion for championing new improvement initiatives and desire to always make things better
Willing to learn and willing to share knowledge and mentor other team members and Govtechies
Required skills
Min. 3 years relevant work experience with relevant degree
Open to pivot or gaining exposure in data engineering/data analytics field
Open to embedding in data teams with minimal SWE mentorship
