Global Livestreaming
Our team focuses on delivering engaging and the best live streaming experience to global users. We develop creative and interesting features for streamers and viewers to express themselves and interact with others instantly.
Social
TikTok Social team's mission is to facilitate meaningful user connections through TikTok's messaging experience. Our team drives significant user engagement and retention wins through fun, innovative, and technically sophisticated products and features. Some core features and components we build and maintain include User Profile, Story, Inbox, Messaging, Follow, Like, Comment, Tag, etc.
Privacy & Security
Our team aims to build a trusted platform by promoting privacy by design - we design architectures that treat user data respectfully, with transparency, and in line with reasonable practices. We build novel solutions to first-seen challenges of a non-stop evolution of a phenomenal product eco-system.
Frontend + Web Architecture
Our team builds and maintains the web products and infrastructure for TikTok, including www.tiktok.com, hybrid pages in the mobile app, and TikTok TV. Our goal is to build stable, sustainable, and reusable infrastructure, so that each product team can develop, test, and deploy their features more efficiently and effectively.
Testing
Our goal is to facilitate the successful release of TikTok features and enhancements from development to production through effective testing delivering continuous quality at speed. We own the entire system testing process, including but not limited to: analysis, design, executing test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking.
Stability and Quality team
The Stability and Quality team is responsible for ensuring that the services provided by TikTok are highly reliable with low-latency. The team focuses on building and integrating software tools as solutions to improve system reliability, automation and scalability. The solutions include on-call monitoring, automated capacity planning, fault-tolerant business architecture and plans for intelligent failure recovery.
Qualifications
Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• Proficiency in coding & scripting languages such as Go, C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript or Python, PHP
• Solid understanding of computer science and strong problem solving skills
• Good team communication and collaboration skills
• Prior experiences is a plus
