Responsibilities: Performs all PVV activities for all SW test levels as described above Writes the PVV Plan (SW sections) and the Software Master Test Plan considering all the tests at all defined SW test levels Defines the test goal and strategy according to risks, budget, and time Tailors and specifies the test coverage and sequence Estimates and requests resources for testing Analyses the training request Defines and acquires the test environment for the different test levels Leads the SW test team Establishes a periodic meeting within the test team (with standard agenda) Adjusts the tests with the responsible testers Participates in all test reviews Responsible for the execution and documentation of all tests (including tests performed by subcontractors) Tracks the test schedule, effort and costs Distributes the software test status and information to the Software Project Manager Informs the Software Project Manager and the SW System Test Manager in regular meetings about the status of the tests and test prerequisites Escalates to the line management in regular management meetings (e.g. using trend diagrams in PVV Status) in case of test delays cannot be solved by the SW Project Manager Defines countermeasures if deviations from the Software Master Test Plan occur Synchronizes the SW test schedule with the SW project schedule Requirements Degree or Masters in Computer or Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Good written and oral communication skills.
