Our Client:

RGF is currently working with a key market player in the Renewable Industry that is looking to expand their engineering team. With a key focus on sustainability and reducing carbon footprints within the next upcoming years, they are looking to hire a Solar Engineering Manager for their Singapore Team.

The Responsibilities:

• Utilize commercially available software, carry out engineering design, calculations, and analysis for grid-connected solar and hybrid systems that use solar, wind, and BESS
• Arrange for technical proposals to be coordinated with the bid/award procedure for acquiring the relevant services
• Create preliminary designs together with manufacturing figures, and evaluate structural problems for projects in geotechnical, environmental, permitting, and zoning.
• Offer and assess designs, simulations, and performance data for solar engineering, and assistance from engineers throughout construction
• Support the purchase of OEM equipment, EPC services, OE services, etc. for sizable solar farms around the APAC Region
• Supervise structural and electrical designs that adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local codes as well as client-defined specifications for each market

The Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in an engineering or related technical discipline
• 3-5 years of engineering and design experience with utility-scale Solar across the APAC Region
• Understanding of statistical analysis and linear regression models, preferably as it pertains to meteorological data sources and yield analysis
