Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the development teams to design and develop new software solutions. Job Title: Solution Architect Job Mode: 12 months Renewable contract Job Location: Central, Singapore Salary: Competitive RESPONSIBILITIES Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the development teams to design and develop new software solutions. Evaluate and implement new technologies that are capable to digitally transform Income and enhance customer experience. Lead the team in resolving technical debts and defects to ensure that the solutions remain reliable and robust. Perform system analysis, design, and code review to ensure solutions are maintainable, secure and of good quality. Ensure application designs adhere to architectural roadmap, including implementation of DevSecOps, automated testing, native mobile app, API, and micro services in Income's hybrid cloud environment. Ensure application development adhere to Income's software development life cycle process (Waterfall and Agile) and standards. Develop metrics to track development competencies by skills set and applications. Work with the team to continuously make improvements and achieve higher competencies. Collaborate effectively across Income IT divisions to deliver IT solutions. Qualifications - External Degree from a recognized university in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent AWS Certified Solutions Architect is an added advantage Certified Project Management Professional or Scrum Master is an added advantage Hands-on application design, development, and implementation experience Experience leading a team of engineers to deliver application solutions in a hybrid cloud environment Experience in delivering applications using both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies Working experience in delivering native mobile app, API, microservices on AWS and Kubernetes, or equivalent Knowledge of core insurance platform is an advantage Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring technical team and team building Strong advocate of standards and challenge status quo with new and emerging technology to address new business challenges Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level Skills Required: Must have o AWS, Cloud, Design o JavaScript, ReactJS o RESTful API development with swagger, JSON. o Able to set up API Gateway using Swagger file o Microservices Framework o Docker Container technology - have experience in compiling container image o AWS Fargate and lambda functions - have experience working and deploying. o CI/CD, JIRA, Maven/Gradle, GIT, DevOps-Jenkins, Gitlab CI, SQL Developer o Working experience in DB scripting such as MYSQL, MongoDb, MS SQL Thanks & Regards Rajkumar Senior Lead- Recruitment Quess Corp Singapore D: +65 6812 4464 I HP: +65 93389067 [HIDDEN TEXT]
