Be at the forefront of Insurtech in Singapore. You will be the Solutions Architect in IT Consumer for digital business. You will lead a strong in-house development team that take cares of all the online business, including portals, marketing related applications such as campaigns, in Income.

Your valuable technical skill will play a key role for the advancement and growth of the IT Consumer Business and help NTUC Income to cope with the fast-changing business and digital transformation.

You are responsible to provide technical and developmental support across the full lifecycle of projects from planning through implementation. You will be fully responsible for delivery of critical components and modules in various Data/Web projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a technology guru, provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the development teams under your charge to design and develop new software solutions
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that are capable to digitally transform Income and enhance customer experience, including but not limited to Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Blockchain and 3rd party SaaS solutions
• Lead the team in resolving technical debts and defects to ensure that the solutions remain reliable and robust.
• Perform system analysis, design, and code review to ensure solutions are maintainable, secure and of good quality
• Collaborating with and supporting the technical team analysis, design, development, and implementation.
• Manage a production support team to support income\'s point of sales tools that are used by our distribution force.
• Manage a production support team to handle monthly bau enhancement and bug fixes
• Ensure clear and concise technical communications and documentations to the team and other stakeholders of the project.
• Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed.
• Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. Take a primary role in inspecting and evaluating product progress through each iteration.

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 10 - 12 years of working experience with at least 5 \xe2\x80\x93 6 years of software architecture experience in Java
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• Hands-on application design, development, and implementation experience
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to work with large teams
• Understanding of design quality standards
• Experience in leading a delivery team
• Good experience with technology as below:

• Java/J2EE, OOA, OOP, JDBC, Spring Boot
• JavaScript, ReactJS
• RESTful API development with swagger, JSON.
• Able to set up API Gateway using Swagger file
• Microservices Framework
• Docker Container technology - have experience in compiling container image
• AWS cloud services experience
• CI/CD, JIRA, Maven/Gradle, GIT, DevOps-Jenkins, Gitlab CI, SQL Developer
• Working experience in DB scripting such as MYSQL, MongoDb, MS SQL or equivalent
