Our client in the financial sector is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to manage and monitor the development and delivery of mission critical projects.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Has minimum 5-6 years of experience in designing and developing micro-service based Java Applications;
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Oracle;
• Strong knowledge in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Agile Development;
• Strong vendor management and team / stakeholder communication skills;
• Experience in DevOps software development tools and methodologies;
• Highly conversant in architectural concepts, principles and SOA governance practice;
• Strong business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis, and creative problem solving ability;
• Customer-centric individual, possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Prior working experience in Insurance;
• PMP certified.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project stakeholders/vendors to review and provide business, technical and integration solution for mission critical applications;
• Manage the development team to deliver in-house application projects as well as new enhancement projects;
• Manage and monitor delivery, production support and incident management ensuring SLAs are met;
• Responsible to evaluate and review solutions for new requirements and BAU maintenance work;
• Ensure development projects adhere to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards along with updated documentation;
• Guide development teams, propose new innovative methodologies and mentor the team raising the collective technical competencies.
