As a result of this large-scale change program, we are seeking to appoint a SAP Solution Architect & BA responsible for partnering with business users to understand requirements, and then design and implement supporting SAP system solutions, to enable the realization of desired business value. The role scope includes improvements to all APAC SAP instances / process domains, and the implementation of the regional SAP strategy that seeks to harmonize processes and instances across the APAC region. This is a regional position based in Singapore and responsible to:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities to drive business value, translate these into Business requirements

• Design solutions that maximize usability whilst minimizing code and customization

• Ensure low complexity and E2E integrity of solutions across business process areas

• Validate scope, evaluate IT risk and cost factors in projects and operations

• Responsible for planning of costs and timing for change realization

• Support the global SAP Lead in the analysis of the as-is APAC SAP landscape in order to define a global SAP strategy

• Coach other SAP experts to help solve technical/engineering problems at an operational level.

• Responsible for translating Business requirements into functional specifications

• Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that maximize the full potential of the SAP Platform.

• Provide analysis and recommendations on optimization of SAP IT solutions

• Own and drive high-level SAP platform release schedule across delivery teams

• Own and maintain prioritization of the features and requirements backlog for the APAC SAP landscape

• Ensure adherence to template governance processes to protect the strategic solution design and effectiveness

• Participate in CAB meetings

• Work with technical teams to deliver system design and development activities

• Create and/or review vendor created deliverables ensuring completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards

• Ensure IT system controls and standards are adhered to at all times, across all teams

• Ensure scalable project delivery as well as efficient application management services by managing offshore IT suppliers

• Develop / Contribute to the development of solution architectural standards and guidelines in close alignment with related functions (e.g. Enterprise Architecture)

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required), or Master (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Very good conceptual and analytical skills and a high motivation to define sophisticated process solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment

• 5 years of professional experience in IT projects with a focus on SAP Functional process domains

• Ideally experience in integration of SAP with other enterprise applications such as Salesforce, 3P Distribution systems, HR Payroll systems

• Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP Cloud Platform Integration) is an advantage.

• Initial experience in Agile methodologies is an advantage.

• Proven track record of designing successful system landscapes.
