Based in our Head Office in Middle Road and reporting to Deputy Director, Enterprise Architecture & Insights Platform, the incumbent will be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets. This role covers architecture aspects of technical and functional spaces, including Service Oriented Architecture, portal, search, data integration and consumption by applications, collaboration, enterprise content management, and web and mobile applications. You will understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. In addition, . You will create 2 to 3 years enterprise application vision and strategy for architecture including software platforms, shared solutions, Realtime and Batch processing. . You will provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases, and reengaged to perform benefits realization. Partner with key stakeholders and proactively consult to projects regarding Architecture concerns and direction. . You will develop and support design of application architecture components, by defining architecture and design, and documentation of architecture relevant system or software changes or enhancements to all assigned systems. . You will be accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case. Utilizes or develops reference architectures that fit within the overall architectural blueprint for Architecture. . You will define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision. . You will ensure quality of the developed solution from an architecture perspective and conformance of delivered solution. Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements. . You will research and provide options for resolving production issues that involve architectural concerns. Leads analysis of complex production support issues that are related to Architecture. . You will determine and confirm solution architecture and design, considering specific business constraints, requirements and dependencies. . You will assess new technologies and develop solutions appropriate to business requirements for Architecture, and that leverage architecture standards. Who You Are You will have a Degree Computer Science / Engineering, Information Science / Related IT Discipline You will have TOGAF Certification You have a minimum 10 years of experience in multiple IT disciplines, including 5 years in application development, system integration and management, and information analysis You have exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments You have a good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models You understand agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks You have a proven ability to upwardly influence the strategic direction of IT solutions You have the ability to work in environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on delivery You have a proven track record of translating organizational strategy into actionable technology solutions that drive operational excellence while enabling synergistic growth and organizational scale. You have a proven track record as Senior Leader with experience building and leading an enterprise application and architecture discipline in a large enterprise, including Integration discipline.
