Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned solution architect who will be instrumental in shaping the regional architecture footprint, technology standards, data governance and security practices while addressing business needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Partners with product groups to translate business requirements into technical specifications leading up to the development of architecture design and solution options ensuring alignment with architecture principles and agile development practices.
• Guides and works alongside engineering team to ensure successful technical implementations which are aligned with targeted architecture design and software quality attributes.
• Initiates, develops and promotes adoption of modern integration, application design patterns, technology standards, driving standardization and application rationalization where possible.
• Leads architecture reviews providing technical guidance and path forward recommendations in new solution assessments, proof of concepts, cross functional and cross platform integrations, application maturity assessments and application lifecycle management.
• Identifies opportunities that drive efficiencies and optimization, automation leading to productivity savings.
• Influence multi-functional teams to deliver business value by maximizing system investments and sustainability of applications.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science or engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial or IT domain, operating in a lead system architect or technical lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of various commercial pharma processes and technologies related to customer relationship and patient engagement, digital, analytics and data governance.
• T-shaped IT professional with expertise in commercial pharm technology combined with cross discipline competencies to collaborate and influence both business and IT stakeholders
• Proficient in navigating and balancing between enterprise big picture mentality and region or market specific mindset.
• Extensive experience in integrating multicomponent systems with data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Implementation experience in more than one of the following solution domains is preferred:

• Architecting and implementing Cloud service/serverless solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
• Solution integration technologies such as defining API specifications, API integration patterns and solutions, Azure APIM, AWS API Gateway, Mulesoft.
• CRM platforms preferably Salesforce modules service cloud, health cloud, marketing cloud and Veeva suite of products
• Digital experience solutions such as Drupal, Sitecore, Jetify
• Data warehouse and analytics, preferably in areas of data integration, MDM and data governance
