Key Responsibilities * Close collaboration with the frontline to close deals * Create and coordinate RFPs/RFIs and/or Proof of Concept deliveries including development/integration work * Prov Key Responsibilities Close collaboration with the frontline to close deals Create and coordinate RFPs/RFIs and/or Proof of Concept deliveries including development/integration work Provide Product/Solution demonstrations and training Coordination with various internal and external stakeholders, especially product, sales, developers and third parties Respond quickly to customer needs, working with urgency to propose creative solutions that deliver demonstrable value Become a thought leader in a chosen specialization and potentially create new products to be sold Provide domain/solution expertise in case of client escalation in the interest of client retention Qualifications/Experience A university degree in a STEM subject: Financial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics. A postgraduate (MSc or PhD) degree is a plus Having worked in technical pre-sales, data analytics or quant research function for a minimum of 3 years Experience of the buyside workflow, ideally with regards to quantitative portfolio management and research Equities asset class knowledge preferred, but multi asset class also a good option. Knowledge of factor models, alpha generating strategies, risk management, portfolio optimization a plus Strong programming knowledge, ideally Python, but R, Java, Matlab, C++, SQL and others also welcome. Experience of working with APIs e.g. REST/SOAP, WebSockets Being able to create examples, prototypes, demonstrations for databases/data analytics solutions Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken English a must, other Asian languages a plus
