Senior Solution Consultant - Singapore
As part of the South Asia team, this role requires active engagement in presales work across a variety of Genesys solutions. A Solution Consultant will work closely with the regional Sales, Presales, and partner channel to drive new business and address the adoption of Genesys solutions raised throughout the sales process.
As part of this role, you will:

  • Be part of the Genesys Financial Services team and broader Solution Consulting team
  • Design professional high-level solution designs for customer deployments as well as providing all necessary requirements for the deployment to be successful.
  • Build strong relationships with Genesys’ customers and partners.
  • Educate our customers from a business and technical perspective around the benefits and the adoption of Genesys solutions.
  • Build and present custom demonstrations to customers showcasing the business value of Genesys solutions.
  • The Solution Consultant works in a consultative role to identify and qualify customer requirements and map them to Genesys software, services, and consulting offerings delivering a holistic solution.
  • This is a client-facing role that works with various levels of customer organizations tailoring the messaging to meet the needs of various stakeholders
  • This person is a professional, self-motivated individual who can function well in a distributed field sales organization
  • To be successful you must be a self-starter who can proactively engage with various stakeholders to drive success while working towards a collective team goal
  • A Solutions Consultant must possess strong presentation and writing skills can facilitate sales with an emphasis on the business and technical aspect and reference a comprehensive understanding of the overall customer’s objectives

Strategic Value
  • The role as a Solution Consultant is imperative to the success of sales opportunities and requires the Solution Consultant to have a good understanding of the customer experience industry, particularly as it relates to contact centres, digital and AI solutions.
  • The Solution Consultant will be required to apply best practice principles in the areas of Solutions Consulting, have a good understanding of Service Design methodology, and be able to engage effectively with various parts within an organisation.

What you will be doing?
  • The Solution Consultant performs a crucial role in being able to effectively illustrate and demonstrate the functionality of Genesys solutions whilst articulating the value the solution.
  • Lead a team to develop a solution and drive to a successful result.
  • The team may contain other Solution Consultants, Business Consultants, Customer Success managers and members from Professional Services along with representatives from a Partner and Customer.
  • Build strong relationships with Genesys’ customers and partners.
  • The solution consultant should have a good understanding of both Cloud and on-premises delivery models.
  • The Solution Consultant seeks to understand customer requirements through consultative discovery efforts
  • Using a service design methodology, the Solution Consultant uncovers gaps in the customer experience (CX)
  • The Solution Consultant works with the partners and/or customer to co-create solutions to bridge the CX gaps
  • The Solution Consultant brings a unique perspective in matching Genesys solutions to customer requirements
  • The Solution Consultant is effective at handling objections and demonstrating the value
  • Uncover business challenges and articulate solutions through Genesys’ consultative process.
  • Create professional solution design diagrams with the associated assumptions and platform requirements
  • Develop and deliver custom demos tailored to prospects' needs.
  • Assist with trials and proof of concepts (POC)
  • Work in a horizontal aspect assisting Sales, pre-sales, support, and professional services to help answer questions related to our solutions and drive success within the region
  • Engage with Genesys product teams to build knowledge of the Genesys products and provide feedback to help develop the product roadmap
  • Assist partners with questions from the field
  • Travel to partner/customer meetings as required.
  • Respond to customer RFI/RFPs and develop written communications that address customer requests
