Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, direct and implement solutions development innovation in support of Turf & ornamentals for the APAC region. Maintain awareness of developments in scientific knowledge, regulatory affairs, and activism that may dictate changes in stewardship &/or composition of our portfolios. Identify / optimize innovative ideas, through interaction with development specialists, university researchers, technical directors, and other opinion leaders in APAC markets. Design innovation programs, write protocols and direct external funding to quickly validate innovative ideas and advance concepts through governance process. Work independently to analyze / interpret trial data, prepare trial summaries and bio efficacy dossiers for regulatory submissions, and supporting investment decisions. Technical leadership in project teams guiding solutions development, new labels & formulations, and alternative technologies; ensure strategies are technically sound. Scientific leadership, authoring publications in peer-review journals and leading presentations at scientific societies. Secure intellectual property, driving patent generation and monitoring competitor activities. As a recognized expert in ES turf & ornamentals markets, stay current with scientific literature, maintain a comprehensive knowledge of competitive portfolios. Interact with 3rd party collaborators. Support technology scouting activities in APAC.WHO YOU ARE: PhD in Weed Science / Phytopathology, with at least 5 years of industry experience in environmental science development. Good communication skills in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
