HPCs are products that intersect the traditional automotive domain (safety, reliability, and comfort) with the information technology domain (cybersecurity, virtualization, IOT and Devops). We would like to invite you to join us in this role and bring all of the experience and knowledge you have gained in your career in this new HPC product development Position: Manager, Solution Manager (High Performance Computers) Responsibilities: . Developing and communicating the Solution Vision and Solution Roadmap . Creation and tracking to closure of the Capabilities using the Solution Kanban . Refining and prioritizing the Solution Backlog (content authority) so that a sufficient amount of Capabilities achieve the Definition of Ready (DoR) and enablers are available for the next PIPE . Establishing an effective Product Manager/Product Owner team . Act as the highest escalation point for product and backlog related issues . Working with and aligning Product Managers, Product Owners and suppliers on the needed product functionality . Working together with stakeholders and the ARTs in order to understand their needs and to be able to build a prioritize Solution Backlog . Defining and validating Acceptance Criteria of Business Capabilities in collaboration with respective stakeholders or customers . Continuously working with subject matter experts from Solution Train Architect, Release Train Architect and Agile Development Team members to ensure a reasonable effort estimation for Capabilities for the next Program Increment Planning Event (PIPE) . Managing and solving the dependencies between the ARTs and coordinating the input objectives from the different ARTs during the Pre-PI planning events . Participating in the Post-PI Planning events in order to integrate the different results of ART planning back into the Solution Vision and Roadmap . Ensuring agreed and realistic solution level PI Objectives are available and triggering any re-planning efforts if unacceptably high risks are detected . Organizing and moderating the Solution Demo per Program Increment (PI) . Participating actively in the PIPE including a Solution Level Inspect and Adapt . Assessing metrics including the evaluation of business value achieved versus the planned during the previous PIPE . Working with Solution Train Architect team and Product Managers to decompose solution level requirements and specifications into Capabilities and Features . Supporting the Business Owners as interface to the strategic planning of the solution . Tracking to closure the risks identified during the PIPE with the Solution Train Engineer, helping to remove impediments where needed . Aligning and monitoring of suppliers to the Solution Train including any 3rd Party Software Suppliers. . Support the Customer Center / Business Owner to stay within the given R&D budget Qualifications Job Requirements: . Degree in the field of electrical engineering, computer engineering with at least 4 - 6 years' working experience in the areas of product development. . Relevant total experience of 3 - 5 years of leadership experience (technical or disciplinary) and project management . Experience in the development of technical software, system software or embedded software . Experience in working in an agile embedded development environment . Familiar with development processes such as V-model, Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) or with Agile methods such as SCRUM or SAFe . Experience as a facilitator, value responsible, project manager, technical project manager or as a senior developer, ideally in an automotive environment is desirable . Knowledge of related disciplines such as Systems Engineering, Safety or Security is desirable. . Willingness for overseas travel on short notice . Customer-oriented with strong communication skills and ability to work in a team .
