Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning. We are presently seeking for Program Manager for High Performance Sensors (HPS) that will take the responsibility in managing customer projects which are being transferred to production. This role will work in close interaction with all relevant parties, i.e. Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and also Product Management. The Program Manager for HPS will be part of the Excelitas Manila Design & Development Engineering Organization and at the same time having close contact to Excelitas Montreal.
Main responsibilities:

• Manages inter-site and international new product introduction (NPI) projects involving new products and processes including complex supply chain configurations.
• Works closely together with R&D and Operations of the Manila and Montreal sites, understanding the product and processes.
• Works together with Product Management and Sales Managers to solve customer communication issues.

Requirements:

• Experience in Program / Project Management – preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Degree in Engineering, Science or similar qualification
• Knowledge and experience in problem solving and quality methods like six-sigma, FMEA, etc.
• Understands automotive development and qualification processes based on APQP.
• Interest in understanding of optoelectronic products and their applications.
• Self-driven, open and positive mindset with experience in international, diverse, and cross-cultural business environment.
• Integrative personality with hands-on mentality
• Excellent oral, written presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Able to build strong, confident relationships within the different departments within the company.
• Able to communicate professionally with customers.
