You will be curating and managing an extensive beverage list that seamlessly aligns with the hotel\'s culinary offerings. Fostering a seamless partnership with the executive chef and culinary team, collaborating closely to craft exquisite wine/sake and food pairings. Forging strategic relationships with esteemed wine/sake distributors, skillfully negotiating pricing, and ensuring the availability of a diverse and premium-quality wine/sake inventory. Stay current with industry trends, new wine/sake releases, and emerging vineyards/wineries.Guest Interaction:
You will provide a bespoke level of customer service by assisting guests in selecting wines/sakes that elevate their dining experience. Includes guidance on wine/sake pairings considering their preferences, and sharing details about the curated wine/sake list.Cellar Management:
Overseeing the cellar, ensuring optimal storage conditions and organizational excellence by implementing inventory control measures to safeguard against loss or spoilage, preserving the integrity of our wine/sake collection.Beverage Events and Promotions:
You will conceptualize and execute wine/sake-related events, tastings, and promotions that engage and captivate the guests, which includes collaborating with the marketing team to craft promotional materials and advertisements.Budget Management:
Develop and manage the beverage budget, cost-effective purchasing, and responsible financial management practices.Compliance and Regulations:
