We are looking for an experienced sommelier to join our team and oversee our wine program. As a sommelier, you will be responsible for selecting, managing, and promoting our wine selection to enhance the dining experience of our customers. Responsibilities: Selecting wines that complement our cuisine and reflect our brand Proper storage and service of wine, including opening, pouring, and serving Providing guidance to customers on wine selection and food pairing Managing wine inventory, including ordering new wines and maintaining accurate records Training servers and other staff members on wine service and sales techniques Participating in sales and marketing activities, such as organizing wine tasting events and conducting wine classes Managing the wine budget to ensure profitability Maintaining the wine cellar, including monitoring temperature and humidity levels and organizing and rotating wine stock Qualifications: Certified sommelier with extensive knowledge of wines and regions Proven experience managing wine programs in high-end restaurants or hotels Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong leadership and team management skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends If you are passionate about wine and have the experience and skills to manage a successful wine program, we encourage you to apply.
