We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sourcing Specialist to join our Group Corporate Procurement team. As the Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance against Singtel\'s Group Procurement Policy requirements and Procurement authorization limits, as well as managing sourcing projects to achieve an appropriate level of competition and cost reductions. You will also guide business users on procurement policy and practices, and maintain productive working relationships with key users.

Make an Impact by:

• Ensure compliance with Singtel\'s Group Procurement Policy requirements and Procurement authorization limits
• Ascertain that an appropriate level of competition has been achieve in the sourcing projects
• Guide business users on procurement policy and practices
• Review and analysis of user requirements. Determine best procurement strategy to meet the needs of the requirements based on defined practices/procedures. Where necessary, identify and source potential suppliers based on the requirements provided by the Company
• Liaise with Strategic Sourcing/Category Managers and highlight any concerns observed in the tactical sourcing space, to ensure alignment with broader strategy
• Meticulous, thorough, and firm in pursuing that the requisite documents are lodged for the contract creation process, for proper audit trail

Skills for Success:

• Degree in business/finance related
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in sourcing/Procurement
• Strong understanding of source to pay process
• Has handled high volumes of spot-buy, ITQs, RFQs
• Held position at minimum junior sourcing manager, senior buyer
• Working knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Familiar with sourcing platforms like Ariba, Emptoris, Coupa
• Strong, communication, influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work independently.
• Strong customer facing and relationship building experience
