About Our Client
The client is one of the largest global oil and gas MNC that has strong focus on growing their employees.As a Sourcing Lead, the individual will be in charge of all sourcing activities for the organisation\'s Product Service Lines, managing categories and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Implementing strategic sourcing initiatives that are in line with the business\'s objectives.
- Manage request for quotations (RFQ) and competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services.
- Oversee Supplier performance and improvement projects.
- Ensuring compliance with the organisation\'s policies and procedures.
- Lead planning, scheduling and resource management with the relevant suppliers and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the regional sourcing teams and the appropriate supply chain team.
The Successful Applicant
- The individual would have an advantage possessing a Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Supply chain or any related discipline. An MBA is a plus.
- More than 5 years of experience in sourcing or any supply chain management experience is a plus.
- Strong experience in interfacing an entire enterprise is a plus.
- An individual that is data savvy and good with numbers is a plus.
- Strong understanding in machine drawings, material specification and technical documentations is advantageous.
- Knowledge in SAP and strong MS Excel Macro experience is a huge advantage as the organisation uses these systems regularly.
- Certification as a Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
