Role Description Drive and execute sales strategy for Regional Southeast Asia Accounts while supporting and working in close coordination with In-Country / Southeast Asia / APAC leadership team. A strategic field sales role responsible primarily for direct end user accounts development as well as growth through expansion plans and the effective positioning of focus solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of the Regional Southeast Asia Accounts ecosystem, key drivers and technology trends for building and Data Center infrastructure as well as ensuring CommScope is positioned as the market leader & key innovation partner for the network infrastructure. This position is based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities and Goals

  • Develop short, mid and long-term business plan for the target market segments responsible while managing a quota for the regional accounts.
  • Responsible for achieving the assigned business objectives including revenue, market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Account planning and execution, with strong understanding of account management and deep understanding of Southeast Asia business landscape, local policies and channel eco-system, culture and diversities.
  • Direct end user accounts engagement by working with senior management, decision making level, including C-level to position Commscope first and as trusted advisor on influencing specifications
  • Constantly review and update Go-To-Market strategies to penetrate new segments and growth in existing accounts - Retain current end user accounts while working to expand the depth and breadth of account coverage by introducing higher end solutions, and growing new strategic end user accounts through effective account conversion and penetration plan to increase market share while achieving customer’s satisfaction
  • Work closely with CommScope’s In-Country, Southeast Asia, and APAC cross functional and Leadership team to drive & execute the overall GTM strategy, Account plans and various regional / global marketing initiatives related to Evolving Southeast Asia Accounts.
  • Build, grow and maintaining relationships with Regional Southeast Asia Accounts to understand corporate development roadmap associated with infrastructure deployment across Southeast Asia / APAC / Global, via daily interaction, weekly review, quarterly strategy planning, and use opportunity to build trust, educate and influence clients to meet their business objectives.
  • Maintaining and managing a healthy opportunity funnel on Dynamics 365 along with ensuring data integrity including sales forecast by product lines, market segments and accounts as well as any other reports are required from time to time

Qualifications/Education Required
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT or related disciplines with at least 5 years of sales and account management experience in networking, Data Center infrastructure, or related fields. Diploma holders with relevant and similar past experience are welcomed.
  • Goal-oriented and with growth mindset, willing to learn, agile and adaptable as circumstances change
  • Good command of English. Knowledge of at least One Local Language will be preferred.

Experience and Skills Required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the following skills and abilities: You will have strong interpersonal and initiation skills and a proven track record in building relationships and deliver sales results along with:
  • Extensive sales (5+ Years), business development or account management experience gained within the Southeast Asia Infrastructure industry.
  • Knowledge of Regional Market / Accounts, Technology Trends and buying behaviors preferrable across wired and wireless network infrastructure solutions
  • Strong proven ability to bring new logos & increasing wallet share.
  • Proven ability to manage, grow and nurture large accounts and ensure team alignment.
  • Solution Selling skills and ability to create value proposition based on customer needs & pain points.
  • Experienced and business savvy with consultative, problem-solving solution and strong negotiations skills

Leadership, Aptitude and Attitude Required
  • Strong Initiative and Self Starter: A go-getter attitude with hands-on approach & capable to lead executive engagements (Business alignment & reviews).
  • Teamwork & Stakeholder Management Skills: ability to manage a business plan execution across multiple stakeholders (internally and externally at vendor)
  • Communication Skills: Must be an excellent communicator - both written and oral. With excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to interface seamlessly with internal and external staff.
  • Travel: this job requires individual to travel within the country or territory assigned to attend regional meetings and customer specific events.
