URGENT Working hours: Mon – Thu 8.30am to 5.45pm, Fri 8.30am to 5.15pm

Budget $5k+ monthly, commensurate with relevant experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT or equivalent

• At least 5 years’ experience in IT project planning & management and/or IT governance and policy
  

Seeking a candidate for a 12-month contract with the option of converting to a permanent position with good performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist and govern IT projects, portfolio planning process and procedures, including assisting business users and project team with their project planning.
• Assist in the implementation of appropriate IT governance, compliance & audit, framework, best practices and standards in the organisation.
• Assist and coordinate IT risk management and monitoring programmes.
• Work with project teams to collate, track deliverables and ensure timely updates to Management and reporting at Townhall
• Track IT performance against an IT Scorecard and provide updates and review to Management.
• Liaise and support internal and external auditors to facilitate IT audits, reviews and timely closure of audit outcomes
• Develop, assist and support financial portfolio for IT, capex & opex budget planning and tracking of IT cost.
• Facilitate surveys and feedback to ensure customers’ satisfaction, analyze survey results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate information polls, responses and sharing with other government agencies
• Provide secretariat support to Committees

Requirements : Functional Competencies (e.g. knowledge of contract management, data analysis, financial management skills etc.)

• Good presentation, verbal and written communications skills
• Team player & good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous with strong organisational and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ariba/SAP Platform experience, familiarity with tendering procedures, managing IT budgets and some data analytics skills/experience will be an added advantage
