Job Description


Main Objective

  • Spearhead the area performance through various Performance Forums.
  • Ensure area performance in line with designated Performance Management Tool.
  • Prepare, drive and lead Performance Calls as per designated schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating relevant sales matters related to the Region.
  • Drive the highest levels of quality towards our customers, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd.
  • Drive performance across all Areas within the Region by exceeding Quality promises and KPI deliverables.
  • Guiding Areas regarding Segmented Verticals and Customer Segmentation.
  • Monitor portfolio data quality maintenance (catalogues).
  • Drive and support key sales targets implementation and set-up of related processes (account plans, visits, portfolio coverage, opportunities, etc).
  • Ensure Sales Meeting cadence is adhered to in the Areas.
  • Sales Force module and process owner.
  • Monitor and drive Sales Force usage.
  • Rollout relevant Sales Trainings.
  • Sales soft skill & product trainings.
  • Partake in the sales planning and resource allocation exercise with the areas.
  • Support and drive action plans related to customer survey.
  • Conduct and assist in Area Visits.
  • Support and drive performance across all Areas within the Region by exceeding key performance indicators deliverables.
  • Lead performance calls with Areas and relevant stake holders with the goal of improving the regional performance .
  • Grow knowledge and drive area usage of performance management tools.
  • Monitor and drive continuous performance improvement across all Sales channels .
  • Support and / or Implement Global, Regional and/or Area Sales performance related projects.
  • Guiding Areas regarding Global, Regional and/or Area Sales performance related projects.
  • Campaign Management.
  • Support any and all product sales related roll-outs.
  • External and internal Communication (Hapag-Lloyd Internal Portal and team sites updates).
  • Potential representation in exhibitions and fairs.
  • Ensure regional adherence to regulatory affairs and tariff filings where applicable.
  • Support in generating weekly reports for comprehensive overview of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
  • University degree and 5 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced negotiation, decision-making and presentation skills, self-confident and friendly when dealing with others
  • Demonstrated strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, resourceful and responsive
  • Demonstrated ability to be multi-task, set priorities, organize work and implement action items
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail, analytical, systematic and efficient way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and motivate others
  • Works well under tight deadlines
