-What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do Ensures that appropriate controls are in place to monitor the accuracy and adherence to the obligations of all commercial contracts across the global Energy Solutions Trading desks. Support the Commercial Operations team to deliver a complete contract administration service, ensuring compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures, and adherence to Group Governance, Risk and Compliance and Tax Policies.
KEY TASKS

• Support continuous review to identify opportunities that will optimize existing processes
• Support EOS as our current system of record and participate in new systems as appropriate for future new products and/or marketing requirements.
• Interface with Energy Solutions Commercial Operations to understand key contractual terms and obligations.
• Validate trader deal entry in the designated trading system against the confirmation from the counterparty.
• Track and monitor the compliance of all contractual obligations and provide early warning to Commercial Operations to ensure obligations are met from deal execution through to product delivery.
• Liaise with Commercial Operations prior to the start of any new contract year to agree and confirm future obligations.
• Work with Commercial Operations to understand any amendments to existing contracts to ensure validation in the designated system and any changes to obligations are properly monitored.
• Ensure accuracy of actualization process by Commercial Operations and trigger Invoice generation by finance.
• Filing of all contractual documentation in relevant repository.
• Support Energy Solutions Commercial Operations team with any customer disputes or claims.
• Provide regular and ad hoc reporting on contract status, customer performance status and service delivery.
• Execute all contract administration activities in alignment with Group Business Integrity and Governance policies.
• Escalate and communicate any contract compliance discrepancies through the appropriate reporting line
• Maintain Accurate records to support the Tax Control Framework requirement for Attestation annually as part of United Kingdom Credit Reform.

Qualifications
-What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

• University degree or diploma (preferred but not essential)
• Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
• Knowledge of LNG, Carbon Emissions Trading, Oil & Gas environments.
• Transactional or operational knowledge of detailed product specification, delivery terms (such as laycans, demurrage penalties, etc.) or documentation requirements (bills of lading or payment requirements based on documents).
• Strong numerical, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office \xe2\x80\x93 intermediate level
• Knowledge of port and shipping logistics operations (desirable)
• Understanding of risks to permitting elements in potential deals that differ across jurisdictions and countries (political/jurisdictional risks).
• Understanding of theories and principles of international commodity marketing and sales.
