Your Key Responsibilities

• Management of sustainability programs
• Strategy development and implementation of CO2 neutral production processes at Schaeffler production locations in the region Asia Pacific
• Coordination of technical developments for sustainable technologies and locations within the region
• Independent bundling and further development of know-how sharing together within the Global Schaeffler network
• Concept implementation of sustainable resource utilization (energy, material, process media, etc.) within the Schaeffler production system
• Monitor and tracking of the sustainability level of the Schaeffler plants in Asia Pacific
• Collaboration with direct employees and project members
• Conceptualization, standardization, and controlling of various sustainability topics at Schaeffler locations in Asia Pacific (e.g. water usage, packaging materials, accident frequency)

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental/Energy Studies, Environmental Engineering, and/or Project Management in relevant field of studies
• Experience in international project management
• Intercultural sensitivity and assertiveness in combination with strong communication and presentation skills
• Enthusiasm and implementation strength as well as entrepreneurial, strategic and networked thinking & acting
• Pioneer for change combined with unconventional and creative approaches
• Team player and independent, driven and pro-active attitude to support/follow up on project developments
• Knowledge of Sustainability standards, benchmarks and certifications
• Certifications in Lean Management (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt) are an advantage
• Fresh graduates with an interest in production-related environment are welcome
