Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a school setting and possess a strong background in speech therapy, patient care, and early intervention strategies. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders ensuring highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in children. Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each child's communication needs and goals. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language skills, social communication, and address swallowing difficulties where needed. Apply evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques in an engaging and child-friendly manner. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and integration of strategies in daily routines. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of each child's progress, and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Stay updated on the latest trends, research, and best practices in speech therapy and special education.

Requirements

Recognised degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field. Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore. Prior experience working with children with speech and language disorders, especially in one-to-one settings. Strong knowledge of communication development, disorders, and evidence-based intervention methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach. Ability to work independently while customising therapy based on each child's progress. A genuine passion for helping children enhance their communication abilities and reach their fullest potential.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
