You are an experienced, highly credible, successful sales individual with solid experience within event sponsorship sales and marketing solutions sales or similar.

Knowledge of either the financial services or insurance industries specifically in governance, risk, regulatory compliance and financial crime prevention areas within APAC is an advantage.

Your passion for consultative sales in a high pressure environment means you have developed a successful history of regularly exceeding sales targets, by combining new business sales campaigns with repeat sales from existing customers.

Your desire to succeed means your sales action plan is well thought through and regularly re-evaluated enabling you to forecast accurately and exceed your sales target. You are naturally positive, confident, and a good communicator.

You will use your experience, drive and tenacity to secure and grow repeat business from existing clients, whilst acquiring new clients relevant to our evolving products and services.

Your strong sales skill set, with demonstrable success in developing relationships, winning new business, and consistently achieving sales targets will help you to navigate senior decision makers to encourage them to utilise our events via sponsorship and marketing services to meet their objectives and grow their businesses.

You will have a successful history of hitting sales targets through a combination of great planning, effective account management and proactive new business development success. Determining and monitoring your personal core KPIs and collaborating with colleagues will be crucial to keeping on track.

Core Responsilties are as follows:

  • Deliver / exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Proactively and strategically source and secure new business revenue in agreed territory whilst managing and growing existing accounts
  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan that exceeds your monthly, quarterly and annual sales target
  • Balance consultative selling with selling the range of products in the portfolio
  • Deliver the activity needed to develop a pipeline three times your monthly target
  • Seek, drive and maximise sponsorship partnership opportunities by avoiding discounting and focusing on the value proposition to drive yield.
  • Forecast effectively - weekly, monthly, quarterly
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Build sponsorship spectrum, identify potential sponsors
  • Follow the client through to delivery collaborating with our internal functions
  • Represent the brand at all times to build the right relationships
Essential and desirable capabilities

We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...

We know it\'s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role\'s location by the start of their employment.

You will also need;
  • Extensive B2B Event sponsorship sales experience in an events business, consultancy or similar
  • Strong people skills, and relationship building experience
  • A successful history of hitting sales targets
  • Experience in finding new business
  • Demonstrable new business development success
  • Experience of selling marketing solutions sales
  • Good knowledge of SalesForce, Sales Navigator & Natterbox (or similar)
  • Knowledge of Marketo, Conga and SharePoint is desirable
