My client is one of the leading manufacturers of micro connectors (MNC). They are committed to total customer satisfaction and working towards a common goal in the development of comprehensive engineering solutions.

• Initiate and deploy an advanced product quality plan in the new product/ process development (based on SPEED)
• Lead and support the project manager to identification of all potential quality risks to product physical attributes, intended functional and reliability performance
• Develop and ensure that program goals including quality and reliability are met in compliance with customer/ product specifications and standards (eg Reach/ ROHS)
• Analysis of initial product and process prototype/experimental data to identify possible area of risks and propose risk mitigation plan
• Track and report Initial process and product capabilities for prototype build
• In conjunction with Core Team, identify significant Critical to Quality (CTQ) and drive project team to develop risk mitigation plan/ Poka Yoke system
• Translation of expected product performances into Qualification plan
• Work closely with Project Team to perform validation of Product Specification and ensure that it meets customer expectation
• Generate Validation Qualification Plan and reports
• Authorization product release to customer
• Definition and validation of Product Control Plan/ Safe Launch Plan
• Active participation in the development of Design & PFMEA
• Definition and Validation of PPAP samples
• Trigger product and process risk assessments
• Audit project deliverables and validate phase completion
• Lead potential customer complaints and apply QRQC methodology for problem solving

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, material science and Quality Assurance
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in quality capacity
• Relevant experience on QC core tools, 8D reporting, knowledge of ISO 9001/ TS 16949 and QMS auditing experience
• Basic G&T, statistical tools (like:minitab)
• Involves in New Product Introduction (NPI) in quality capacity will be added advantage
