You will be part of the newly formed Data eXchange Unit (DXU) team with the Office of Clinical Epidemiology, Analytics, and kNowledge (OCEAN), Management Information Department (MID). You will be involved in the management of data assets in Tan Tock You will be part of the newly formed Data eXchange Unit (DXU) team with the Office of Clinical Epidemiology, Analytics, and kNowledge (OCEAN), Management Information Department (MID). You will be involved in the management of data assets in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Central Health (TTSH), development and implementation of TTSH's data strategy, and the facilitation of data exploitation, in compliance with national data governance and management policies. The Challenges Assist in managing and maintaining a data request platform to facilitate data requests by TTSH staff and users from institutions within NHG cluster and put in place a protocol that complies with relevant data access, sharing, and security policies. Monitor, track, and be well versed in all data management policies and practices so as to provide advice to stakeholders on policy requirements. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand data request needs and facilitate smooth and efficient information/data extraction and processing that meet requesters' needs and requirements. Assist in the development, review, and updating of all relevant TTSH data-related policies to ensure alignment with Ministry Of Health's (MOH) and National Healthcare Group's (NHG) data policies (eg, MOH's HealthTech Instruction Manual - Data Management (HIM-DM) and NHG Data Access & Sharing Policy). Provide secretariat support for departmental and hospital working committees to support TTSH's digital transformation agenda and build communities of practice to share knowledge and best practices (e.g. Data Management Working Committee (DMWC) and Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AiDA) committee). Assist in the development and implementation of proper data assets management standard operating procedures and workflows across the Data Life Cycle, from data acquisition, fusion, access and distribution, to disposal (e.g. tracking and maintaining registries of data access, monitoring of data handling and disposal processes). Assist in collaborative efforts with relevant TTSH departments/units to build staff literacy, competency, capabilities, and knowledge in safe, efficient, and effective data exploitation and management on various platforms such as Oracle OBIEE/OAS, SharePoint, NGEMR, etc. Assist in change management, engagement, and communications with different levels of stakeholders, on issues pertaining to data management, data sharing, and data exploitation. The Requirements Preferably with Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computing in Information Systems, Information Management or Management Information Systems or related fields Well-versed in slides presentation, dashboard and reporting. Able to work independently and collaboratively with mutli-disciplinary teams within NHG and with external stakeholders such as Ministry of Health (MOH) / Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH) Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate management and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a healthcare setting with clinical or healthcare informatics experience will be an added advantage. Familiarity with and/or working knowledge of data management, handling, and governance, and the regulatory requirements pertaining to the usage and sharing of data will be an added advantage. Experience in handling compliance reviews or overseeing data management / IT systems is preferred.
