The role is responsible for managing, developing and growing Visa\'s Seller Side business within Tier 2 and 3 Acquirers and Payment Facilitators across Asia Pacific. This is a new role created within the Regional Sales team as Visa seeks to increase coverage across a broader range of Seller Side Enablers. The role holder will be setting up a COE within the Regional Sales Team and manage the initial account transition, client engagement framework and ongoing Client management in partnership with MS&A and Cross functional Leads.

The position will be responsible for a portfolio of Acquiring and PayFac clients, which will include driving sales initiatives on our key products and solutions, understanding the evolving needs of our clients and ensuring Visa contributes to driving a successful partnership and business growth.

The Regional Sales team is creating the next step in the evolution of our sales and service approach within Asia Pacific. In this role, you have an opportunity to reshape and renew how we take care of our clients who we manage on a portfolio basis. You will also have a critical part in supporting the initiatives across geographies and functions to optimize our sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the Acquiring side practice within the Regional Sales team, identifying the appropriate framework to engage, manage and support Enablers from the Regional Sales team\'s portfolio of clients using a combination of individual and one to many client communications
  • Implementing business development and portfolio management, in continuous collaboration with Sales and Functional Areas to ensure alignment with country, regional and global strategies.
  • Track the business impact of scaled account management through the Regional Sales Team
  • Partner with Solutions and B2B Marketing team to develop sales campaigns that can be leveraged across client base
  • Support the licensing process for new clients wishing to enter into the acquiring business
  • Collaborate with CS to identify opportunities to streamline Acquiring side support at scale
  • Proactively engage acquiring clients on key business initiatives such as VBNs, Data Solutions and other Seller side thought leadership
  • Understand the decision-making process within the clients, fostering productive relationships at all levels with the client and Visa
  • Act as an SME for the broader Regional Sales team on all things Acquiring
  • Expand existing relationships/partnerships through the selling of Visa products and services. Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client\'s business objectives are met and that the performance metrics of their payment portfolios are maximized
  • Proactively provide feedback and drive improvement of existing processes and activities that are affecting our sales force and clients
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Acquiring business and Seller side ecosystem will be beneficial
  • Minimum of Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent with 10 years of work experience in portfolio Account Management or Business development
  • High level of curiosity to learn Visa products and services and adaptable to a dynamic and complex working environment. Learn and execute on effective sales strategies for new payment products and services
  • Proven ability to produce quality work with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills
  • Strong Business and Financial acumen with high level of professionalism in a face-to-face, video, oral and written communications
  • Ability to effectively create and deliver Client Business Reviews and other key presentations to all client levels
  • Solid ability to pull together internal and external resources and nurture cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent team player with the ability to operate effectively and efficiently - with minimum supervision in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize work with attention to detail. Solid planning and excellent organizational skills
  • Motivated self-starter with passion, energy and dedication
  • Highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other key work productivity tools
