JOB TITLE: SENIOR MANAGER, MARKET DEVELOPMENT, ROA

HIRING MANAGER: DIRECTOR, MARKET DEVELOPENT &TECHNICAL MARKETING

JOB PURPOSE

Pivotal role in the realization of SBU Petrochemicals strategic growth and differentiation ambitions in ROA by means of successful market development and implementation in well-defined focus and key industries (e.g. Packaging, Consumer, Building & Construction), leveraging emerging trends and sustainability and circular economy opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish impactful Market Development capability based on demonstrated leadership, team/career development, and resource/project management skills.
• Ability to translate market opportunities/trends into concrete business growth and prospect development, new differentiated value added solutions and product portfolio optimizations in line with the SBU Petrochemicals strategic ambition.
• Instill interdependent cross-functional (i.e. business, sales, Technical Marketing, T&I) and cross-regional mindset.
• Excellent oversight of the relevant market and corresponding application trends and needs in combination with strong and value chain understanding and relationships (e.g. customers, OEM\'s, system suppliers)
• Nurture internal and external networks; Build and maintain solid relationships

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced technical degree combined with established and relevant technical and Marketing & Sales experience
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience working in the Plastic Industry value chain
