As the Regional Security Manager for Asia Pacific at Micron Technology Inc., you will lead a diverse organization of security professionals. You will be responsible for all physical security programs As the Regional Security Manager for Asia Pacific at Micron Technology Inc., you will lead a diverse organization of security professionals. You will be responsible for all physical security programs and teams in the Asia Pacific region to support Micron campuses, administrative offices, semi-conductor fabrication facilities, and warehouses. You will serve was the organizational leader for regional security programs consisting of access control, loss prevention, workplace violence, intelligence gathering, threat analysis, countermeasure deployment, alarm point and closed-circuit television applications, and investigations. You will lead a regional team of security professionals and will run an enterprise-wide program to safeguard the company's critical assets - employees, facilities, operations and reputation. You will report to the Global Physical Security Director for Micron. Responsibilities and Tasks Organizational leadership and development of the Micron Physical Security organization in Asia Pacific. Partner with internal business leaders and site owners to assess risk and implement security protocols. Lead executive stakeholder engagement for Physical Security in the region and provide reporting and metrics to security and business leadership. Drive operational best practices and adherence to policy, process, and standards across the organization. Lead across teams of Micron employees and external contractors for consistent adoption and application of security practices. Develop and implement strategies to meet security goals and objectives that fulfill requirements of internal and external customers. Support deployment and adoption across the region, and in alignment with your peers in other global regions. Partner across the Global Security Organization for the research and deployment of state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques, tools and services to facilitate the effectiveness of global security programs. Conduct, lead and coordinate complex and sensitive investigations regarding security threats and violations. Coordinate with law enforcement as required. Oversee the implementation of employee safety and workplace violence programs that aid in the prevention of threats and violence in the workplace and support response in the event of an incident. Support and coordinate with Micron's Crisis Management, Information Security, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and team members. Develop organizational capability for physical security risk intelligence and threat monitoring related to the protection of Micron's employees, facilities, operations and reputation. Lead Micron's regional security operation centers, ensuring they have the proper tools and resources to deliver on corporate security capabilities and expectations Partner with the Micron Cyber Security organization for holistic assessment of enterprise risk. Define physical security requirements, influence the definition of security standards, and maintain compliance of all sites to defined standards and policies. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal partners, including executive leadership, functional business areas, and site leadership. Ownership for the Physical Security budget for Asia Pacific along with associated contracts, resources, and workforce. Represents Micron in external negotiations, international security forums, and external investigations lead by LE agencies involving Micron entities or team members. Represents Micron interests to external stakeholders on matters pertaining to Security regulatory compliance and asset protection. Successful candidates will have: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to see solutions to their conclusion Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to discuss technical issues with both technical and non-technical people Understanding of fundamentals of iterative development Excellent organizational skills and the ability to see solutions to their conclusion Ability to define, document, and communicate requirements in business-relevant language Ability to be self-directed and a fast learner and flexible to support new technologies and legacy applications Ability to react to high-pressure dynamic changing environments Strong problem solving and analytical skills High energy and positive attitude Growth mindset Situational awareness, conflict resolution Continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency Qualifications and Experience: Graduate with 4+ years of experience in a security field, preferably in a multinational environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Adequate level of computer literacy including proficiency in MS office package Good knowledge of working with Lenel, exacqVision and VMS Strong communication skills & fluent knowledge of verbal & written English/ vernacular language Demonstrated ability to deal with business tools & understand business metrics Demonstrated ability to perform in pressure environment with adherence to timelines Critical thinking & attention to detail of a narrative Strong interpersonal skills & proven experience in managing stakeholders and vendors Strong business ethics, discretion Preferred Professional Certifications: PSP/CPO
