The Senior Specialist, Global Trade (GT) will support the Enterprise Operations GT organization and the role will be categorized as Onsite. As part of the Enterprise Operations Global Trade team, the Global Trade Senior Specialist will support overall trade and regulatory compliance activities for HSUNPAC (Bedok and Changi). These responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing import & export compliance program, implementing requirements as per RTX/Collins GT procedures for HSUNPAC\xe2\x80\x99s management of hardware, technology, technical data and defense articles, subjects to United States, Singapore and foreign Country regulations and keeping up to date on changes to Trade Regulations that impact the business. The position reports directly to HSUNPAC\xe2\x80\x99s Global Trade Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supports the development, implementation and maintenance of the internal compliance programme within HSUNPAC, ensuring alignment with RTX/Collins GT procedures.
• Supports the deployment and monitoring of local operative global trade requirements.
• Performs GTS Master functions ensuring minimal disruption to the shipping/receiving, materials planning and supply chain activities supporting daily manufacturing operations.
• Supports efficient execution of global trade requirements and continuous process improvement.
• Supports xClass products classification determination, to fulfill the aspects of import and export shipping activities, consistent with Customs\xe2\x80\x99 requirements and Collins/RTX Corporate Policies.
• Generates data for metrics reporting for monthly Dashboard reviews and transactional testing data for both Import/Export declarations.
• Monitors regulatory and business changes to ensure export authorizations are updated and obtained on a timely manner to support existing and new business engagements.
• Supports the GT Manager with the administration of license/permit applications with stakeholders relating to controlled articles under ITAR, EAR-600 series and Strategic Goods Control Order, coordinating signatures of end-user statement/certificate to facilitate export licensing requirements.
• Ensures that all manufacturing operations, functional groups and responsible parties stay compliant to the control measures and requirements established in HSUNPAC CP.
• Coordinates with the Manager, Global Trade and Strategic Goods Control Officer to train responsible parties and personnel ensuring adherence to the compliance procedures, approved tools and GT requirements (including general GT awareness trainings, GT site councils and GT Orientation training for new employees).
• Responsible for HSUNPAC\xe2\x80\x99s self-assessments, periodic export/import compliance reviews and recordkeeping programs in HSUNPAC.
• Supports audits and investigations, as well as the deployment of Denied Parties Screening requirements as requested by the Global Trade Manger.
• Responsible for access controls, visitor approvals, long-term contractor clearances and international travel approvals, as defined under the CP.
• Engages directly with HSUNPAC teams at Collins to drive alignment on global trade compliance strategy, processes and tools.
• Aligns with colleagues from the Enterprise Operations Global Trade team to drive a fully united organization \xe2\x80\x9cOne Collins\xe2\x80\x9d.
