What You Will Do In Your Role

• Review with team on Connector Housing design during design review as per DFM and FMEA.
• Perform Mold Design and conduct mold design review meeting based on our mold design guidelines/ check list and Mold Design FMEA.
• Develop mold as per development schedule to support new product launch and ramp.
• Work with Tool room on fabrication follow up and debug issues.
• Work closely with Debug and Process Engineer on FOT and Qualification of Molds.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for subcontracted molds for quotation, specification, review, follow up, FA closure and other technical issues.
• Work with team in solving issues of housing and mold. Submit FA and work closely with QA Engineer and Product design to close housing FA.
• Support Molding in terms of mold improvements and pre-production runs.
• Analyze new products for Mold flow and warpage using CAE software.
• Support Departmental Focal Points/Projects as required.
• Value creation activities to drive new technology and methodology, GLSS and JDI savings to effectively reduce lead time, cost and quality to create long term value for the company.
• Develop strategy of TTM/HMLV for low volume production with a shorter lead time
• QN, QAP reduction by tooling improvement.
• All activities & development must comply with laws & regulations to meet all safety & standard requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by management

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in mechanical
• At least 5 years working exp in Molding mold
