Our client is a full-service accounting, tax, and advisory firm looking for an enthusiastic accountant to join their team. Responsibilities:

  • Managing the ongoing accounting work for a dedicated group of clients, including tasks such as general ledger entry, bank reconciliations, journal entries, etc.
  • Communicating with clients to manage bank access, request documentation, resolve bookkeeping issues
  • Working closely with our account managers to meet deadlines to deliver financial statements to clients

Qualifications:
  • Embodies all Padgett Core Values – Integrity, Community, Accountability, and Positivity. We can teach technical skills, but we can’t teach these values!
  • Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines
  • Good communication skills, position will involve client interaction
  • Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or relatable degree
  • 1-3 years of general accounting and bookkeeping experience
  • Tech-savvy. We have an extensive stack of cloud-based software (Xero, QBO, Gusto, ADP, Karbon) that we use regularly.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to learn and adapt to new software quickly. Proficiency on a Mac, iPad, and iPhone is a plus.
  • CPA or EA is a plus, but not required
  • Tax preparation experience is a plus
  • Work within a team environment
