• Plan, direct and coordinate activities related to Software Development
• Set goals and measure achievements to/for team members
• Provide guidance for productivity improvements, timely delivery, and quality of deliverables
• Ensure appropriate related Software Development procedures and processes are followed and in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, QSR21CFR and OHSAS 18001 requirements
• Analyze Software Requirements and participate in UI/UX design
• Design, develop and maintain embedded software for life science instruments
• Translate wireframes and style guides to production eGUI
• Develop Application Programming Interface with embedded firmware to implement UI workflow
• Participate in design and code reviews within internal team
• Maintain and comply with ISO 13485 procedures and SOPs in the course of application development

How will you get here: Education

• Degree/Master’s in computer science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering

Experience

• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python (5 years)
• Embedded Software development tools (3 years)
• Linux based software development experience (3 years)
• Programming for MCU (Intel, ARM Cortex-A processors) (3 years)
• Source Code Version Control (3 years)
• Embedded Linux programming (3 years)
• Continuous integration and Agile programming (3 years)
• At least 2 years of experience in Planning and directing Software Development activities and Technical Leadership role in Product Development Software Life Development Cycle

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Analytical and problem solving
• Software Development Lifecycle experience preferred
• Embedded device development experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Linux internals
