Who We Need
The role is responsible for providing nursing support services in the Diagnostic Imaging Department and CVL and in leading the Code Blue Team in the event of a cardiac arrest within the Department/CVL.
Assists the Radiologist/Cardiologist and other Specialists in Diagnostic Imaging procedure and invasive procedure in CVL. Also inserts brannula at radiologists instructions for contrast examinations.
Prepares sterile trolleys and sets up equipments/ accessories for Diagnostic Imaging and CVL procedures.
Performs Newborn Hearing Screening and ECG.
Ensures that patients fill up the Consent Form for special examinations such as MRI, IVP, CT Scan and other invasive procedures etc
Ensures that all special preparation for diagnostic imaging is instructed to ward staff/ patient or relatives and complied with.
Explains the procedure of the special examination to patients and reassures patient whenever required.
Helps patients to get changed for radiography procedure.
Ensures that all medication chart and documentation notes are filled in properly for the procedure
Checks Emergency Trolley for expiry dates of drugs and instruments.
Conducts monthly departmental inventory check.
Ensures that there is an adequate stocks of surgical and pharmaceutical products, dry store, kitchen store and C.S.S.D. store.
Assists at the reception when necessary.
Attends and contributes to departmental staff meetings.
Participates in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
Undertakes other duties and tasks as might from time to time be requested by the Manager.
How to Succeed

Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
