Main Roles and Responsibilities * Assesses, Triage and identifies the vulnerable and patients with high-risk conditions so that they will be attended to promptly * Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care plan for Observation ward Main Roles and Responsibilities Assesses, Triage and identifies the vulnerable and patients with high-risk conditions so that they will be attended to promptly Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care plan for Observation ward patients according to the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of each patient, and makes recommendations for any changes if needed Administers medication, performs treatment and attends to other medical orders according to hospital policy Supports the patient to participate in prescribed treatment plans Reports pertinent observations and reactions of observation ward patients to the clinicians and records them accurately and concisely Provides health teaching to patients and their families as appropriate Seeks information from other resources for incorporation in assessment and treatment plans Collaborates with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the management of patients Participates in orientation and training of students and new staff Participates in Pandemic and IMH Care Team activation Requirements Registered with Singapore Nursing Board Registered Nurse Certificate / Diploma in Nursing Minimum 2 years' experience as SN Preferably Registered Mental Health Nurse
