We're looking for a Staff UX Designer to join our UX & Design team. This position is full-time and based in Singapore and reports to the UX & Design Manager. This role is great for UX Designers who revel in stakeholder management, excel in facilitation of design/technical discussions to accelerate execution love solving wicked problems and want to have a say in the long term vision in how we scale up our operations to bring our content to a larger audience in the future. At Viki, you'll be essential in providing a world-class service to our users while our business is scaling up.
Key Responsibilities Include:Key partner along with PM and data in defining and executing our product strategy and roadmap Mapping out user journeys and the respective user flows for different personas Provide mentorship and guidance to members of the UX team Storytelling chops, bringing these user stories and insights to life Strategic design vision and thinking with a strong ability to manage user complexity Presenting insights and rallying the team to co-create solutions Driving UX discovery, delivering solutions with deep understanding of user behaviors Creating design prototypes, micro-interactions and transitions Conducting usability tests Collaborating with Product, Business (Content Operations, Customer Support, Marketing etc.) & Engineering teams to understand, research and translate requirements into solutions

Preferred Qualifications:Degree with 8+ years of experience as a professional UX Designer, with productivity products or B2B experience a plus Experience designing solutions and Design systems Creative. See things differently and come up with solutions that solve problems Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with both technical and nontechnical people, strong opinions loosely held Driven by data and research, designing and analyzing workflows to support key business objectives Experience working in start-up and/or media company environments BS/MS in Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related field a plus Previous management experience a plus Proficiency qualitative and qualitative data analysis a plus
