Job Description

Responsibilities

Installation and removal of steel structure projects in power plants, fireproof coating of steel structures, and EPC work of lifting equipment and facilities Construction of steel structures and lifting equipment facilities in power plants.
- Acceptance of steel structure projects in power plants and the application for MOM acceptance of lifting equipment- According to the benchmark plan, propose and prepare the construction requirements cooperate with the various partues to finalize and submit for approval.


Make progress within the budget according to the plan Control the use of main construction materials (such as steel ?fireproof materials, high-strength bolts, welding consumables, and other materials) to reduce waste Hold team meetings with the project construction personnel daily and conduct site inspections, and write task and action plan notes Handover and track the actual progress with the planned progress Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for the manager to review Coordinate the progress and execution of all structural/architectural/M&E work with the owner/site team/subcontractors Propose plans and prepare operation and maintenance manuals OMM, training, and completion drawings for the handover of completed steel structure projects and lifting equipment facilities to customers. Follow up on the maintenance of steel structure systems and lifting equipment facilities during the DLP period. Supervise the progress of work by subcontractors according to construction drawings, construction method statements, materials, and samples.

Requirements

Must have at least 5 years of experience in managing similar-sized projects in Singapore, including steel structure installation and removal and lifting and hoisting construction work, with the complexity and nature of the work being comparable to that of this position Must hold all training certificates required for a fire protection engineer Familiarity with local engineering/architectural laws and regulations in Singapore Familiarity with engineering permits, licenses, approvals, etc. in Singapore will be an advantage More than two years of construction experience, with EPC project management experience preferred
- Completion of (MWAH) WSQ Manage Working at Heights and (BCSS) Construction Safety and Health - Supervisor training will be a priority


The ability to start work in a short period of time will be an advantage * Able to communicate in 2 language will be an advantage
